Working Principles
The Stainless Steel Clamped Hastelloy Pneumatic Wafer Butterfly Valve operates by using a pneumatic actuator to rotate a disc mounted on a central shaft within the wafer-style valve body. When air pressure is applied, the actuator turns the disc 90 degrees, aligning it with the pipeline to allow flow or positioning it perpendicular to block the flow. The disc is seated against resilient elastomeric or metal seals, ensuring leak-free shutoff and reliable operation. The clamped wafer design allows installation between flanges without full-body removal.
