Working Principles
The stainless steel manual lever lug style eccentric butterfly valve operates by rotating an eccentrically mounted disc around a shaft using a manual lever. The eccentric design offsets the disc from the shaft and seat, reducing friction during operation. When the lever is turned, the disc rotates a quarter turn to open, aligning parallel with the flow and allowing fluid to pass with minimal resistance. Closing the lever rotates the disc perpendicular to the flow, pressing it firmly against the valve seat to form a tight, leak-proof seal. The lug-style body allows secure installation between flanges and supports end-of-line service without removing the opposite flange, making it suitable for water, chemical, and industrial pipeline systems.
