The stainless steel butterfly valve operates by rotating a disc mounted on a central shaft inside the valve body. When the disc rotates parallel to the flow direction, the valve opens, allowing gas or liquid to pass with minimal resistance. When the disc rotates perpendicular to the flow, it presses firmly against the vacuum-rated seat, creating a tight, leak-proof seal suitable for vacuum conditions. The clamp-style body enables easy installation and removal between flanges without disturbing the pipeline.
