Working Principles
The stainless steel butterfly valve operates by manually turning a handwheel or lever connected to a gearbox, which amplifies torque to rotate the valve disc. When the disc rotates parallel to the flow direction, the valve opens, allowing water to pass with minimal resistance. When rotated perpendicular, the disc presses against the valve seat, forming a tight seal to prevent leakage. The aluminum gearbox reduces operating effort, making it easier to control larger valves. Its durable stainless steel body ensures corrosion resistance, while the compact design allows installation in water supply, irrigation, and industrial piping systems.
