STAINLESS STEEL Wafer-Type Pneumatic Offset Duckbill Butterfly Valve
Stainless Steel Sanitary Butterfly Valve is consist of four parts: handle, butterfly disc, sealing ring and valve flange. The butterfly valve can be controlled manually or with pneumatic actuator or electrical actuators.
Not only simple in structure, low in material consumption, small in installation size, small in driving torque, easy and fast in operation, but also has good flow regulation function and closing and sealing characteristics at the same time.
Working Principles
The stainless steel butterfly valve opens and closes by rotating the valve shaft via a pneumatic actuator. The valve plate features an eccentric structure, quickly disengaging from the sealing surface during opening to reduce friction and wear; during closing, the valve plate is pressed against the valve seat by the thrust of the cylinder, forming a reliable seal. The duckbill-shaped valve plate structure guides unidirectional flow of the medium, reducing flow resistance and suppressing backflow. Pneumatic control offers fast response, making it suitable for frequent opening and closing and automated control applications. It is commonly used in pipeline systems requiring backflow prevention and rapid shut-off.
