Colloid Mill Machine is available in horizontal, vertical, and high-shear types, with specifications ranging from small-scale experiments to industrial production capacity. It is made of 304 and 316L stainless steel and features fine grinding, high-shear emulsification, continuous operation, easy cleaning, and corrosion resistance.
Working Principles

In operation, the Vertical Pharmaceutical Colloid Mill for Creams and Ointments operates by a motor-driven, vertically mounted rotor that rotates at high speed. Material enters the grinding chamber through the feed inlet. A tiny gap forms between the rotor and the stator, generating intense shearing, friction, and impact forces, rapidly pulverizing, emulsifying, and homogenizing ointments, creams, and other similar materials. The material repeatedly passes through the gap between the grinding discs in a circulation process, gradually refining and evenly distributing the particles to form a uniform, smooth, and fine paste. By adjusting the grinding disc gap and rotation speed, the fineness, viscosity, and homogenization effect of the finished product can be precisely controlled, making it suitable for small-batch and industrial-scale production of pharmaceuticals and cosmetics.
