The stainless steel sanitary angle filter is a filter designed for sanitary systems with limited space and fine control of fluid direction. This filter is not only used to remove particulate impurities in the liquid, but also to achieve fluid direction change in a small space, avoiding dead corner pollution and redundant pipe connections. The stainless steel sanitary angle filter is usually installed in the clean pipeline system before the fluid enters the key equipment, such as the pump inlet, the front end of the valve group or the metering instrument. It is used to complete the direction change in a limited space and perform primary filtration to prevent particulate impurities from entering the core unit. The common types of stainless steel sanitary angle filters are as follows: quick-install angle filter, threaded angle filter, welded angle filter, flange angle filter.

Stainless Steel Sanitary Mirror Polished Large And Small Head Angle Filter
The stainless steel sanitary angle filter is designed to solve the dual problem of "limited space + directional filtration" in a high-cleanliness, high-integration system. It integrates filtration and pipeline steering through a 90° angle structure, which not only reduces welding points and dead corners, but also improves the flexibility of fluid switching. In CIP/SIP automatic cleaning systems, modular production workshops, or equipment that requires frequent movement and disassembly, this type of filter can ensure the filtering effect while optimizing the system layout, reducing cleaning blind spots and potential pollution sources, and is particularly suitable for high-end sanitary process flows.
Working Principles
The working principle of stainless steel sanitary angle filters is based on the combination of physical interception and directional fluid diversion. When the fluid enters the filter inlet along the pipeline, it first turns 90° due to the angle structure of the filter body, and the fluid is directed to the surface of the built-in metal filter or wedge-shaped filter element. Large impurity particles are intercepted when passing through the filter, and the clean fluid continues to flow out in the direction of the angle outlet. The inner wall of the filter housing is designed with a smooth arc transition to reduce turbulence and residual risks. The filtration process continues. When impurities accumulate to a certain extent, the filter element can be removed through the quick-release interface for manual or online cleaning, thereby achieving continuous, efficient and hygienic filtration control. It is widely used in process pipeline systems with strict requirements for particle control.
Common options for stainless steel sanitary angle filters are listed below:
Filter element accuracy (10μm–1000μm optional)
Interface type (quick-fit, thread, welding, flange)
Surface treatment (mirror polishing, electrolytic polishing)
With or without drain port

Features
● The inner wall of the stainless steel sanitary angle filter adopts a streamlined curved design, which reduces turbulence and dead corners in the fluid flow, ensures uniform filtration of the fluid and reduces the accumulation of residues.
● The stainless steel sanitary angle filter adopts a multi-layer filter stacking design with a gradual filter spacing, which can filter according to the particle size, from coarse to fine, to improve the filtration accuracy.
● The stainless steel sanitary angle filter is equipped with an automatic sewage discharge device, which can clean the filter element through reverse fluid to prevent particles from clogging the filter and maintain long-term operation stability.
● The angle of the stainless steel sanitary angle filter can be customized according to customer needs to adapt to different pipeline layouts.
● The filter element of the stainless steel sanitary angle filter adopts a gradual aperture design. Coarse particles are first intercepted by the larger aperture layer, while fine particles are filtered by the smaller aperture layer.
● The sealing ring of the stainless steel sanitary angle filter adopts advanced high temperature and corrosion resistant materials, such as Viton or PTFE, which effectively avoids sealing leakage.
Application
Stainless steel sanitary angle filters are widely used in the following industries: Food processing industry: used for filtering food raw materials such as liquids and slurries to ensure product quality and hygiene standards. Beverage industry: filter juices, alcoholic beverages, tea drinks, etc. during beverage production to maintain product cleanliness and taste. Pharmaceutical industry: filter raw liquids, solutions, etc. during drug production and chemical reactions to ensure compliance with hygiene standards and avoid cross contamination. Cosmetic industry: used for filtering essences, creams and other cosmetics to ensure product purity and safety. Dairy industry: used to filter milk and dairy raw materials to remove impurities and ensure the hygiene and taste of the final product.
