STAINLESS STEEL Float Clamp On Manufacturer Steam Trap
steam trap are available in threaded and flanged types, with various sizes and pressure ratings. They are high-temperature and corrosion-resistant, offer sensitive opening and closing, and provide stable drainage, making them suitable for steam systems.
Working Principles

This stainless steel float-type steam trap automatically drains condensate using changes in the condensate level. When condensate enters the valve body, the rising level pushes the float upwards, which in turn opens the valve core via a connecting rod, continuously discharging the condensate. When steam enters the valve body, the level drops, causing the float to sink and the valve core to close, preventing steam leakage. The clamp-on design allows for installation and maintenance without disassembling the piping, making it suitable for online testing and maintenance. This steam trap provides stable drainage, a sensitive response, effectively prevents water hammer, and ensures safe and efficient operation of the steam system.

Features

Stainless steel construction provides excellent corrosion resistance and durability in testing steam and condensate discharge applications.
Thermostatic float mechanism enables continuous condensate removal while automatically venting air and non-condensable gases.
3/4 inch compact design allows easy installation in limited space testing and pilot steam systems.
Stable and accurate response to condensate level changes ensures efficient heat transfer and reduced steam energy loss.
Simple internal structure supports reliable operation, easy inspection, and convenient maintenance during routine testing.
Application

Stainless steel float-type steam traps are commonly used in industries such as food processing, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and electronics manufacturing. For example, in food steam sterilization and jacketed heating systems, they are used to stably discharge condensate, prevent water accumulation in steam pipelines, ensure uniform and controllable heating processes, and meet requirements for hygiene and operational stability.
