STAINLESS STEEL Ball Float Thermodynamic BPT 13 Steam Trap
steam trap are available in threaded and flanged types, with various sizes and pressure ratings. They are high-temperature and corrosion-resistant, offer sensitive opening and closing, and provide stable drainage, making them suitable for steam systems.
Working Principles

The stainless steel steam trap BPT 13 achieves automatic drainage through the coordinated operation of an inverted bucket (BPT 13) and a ball float mechanism. When condensate enters the valve body, the inverted bucket and float sink, opening the valve to discharge condensate and air. When steam reaches the valve body, the steam pressure causes the inverted bucket to rise and close the valve, preventing steam leakage. The valve continuously cycles between opening and closing, achieving efficient drainage. This valve is reliably designed and suitable for steam tracing lines, heat exchangers, and industrial pipelines, maintaining stable operation under varying loads and reducing energy consumption.
